This Sunday, at 10 a.m., I will host a special fundraiser to collect donations for California. Originally, this class was set up as an fundraiser for my big brother, who lost his house in the wildfires out there this week. But he’s a special guy! See the note from him below.

We live in the Coffey Park neighborhood of Santa Rosa. Ann and Auggie and I all escaped unharmed. But, our house was incinerated along with the rest.

We have been utterly overwhelmed by the outreach and love we have experienced, and feel so fortunate to have so many wonderful friends and family.

We are also fortunate to have good jobs and, perhaps most importantly, good insurance. Financially, we will be just fine. However, many in Santa Rosa are not so fortunate. So, we are asking any family and friends, who may be touched by our story, to contribute to helping those less fortunate put their lives back together. In lieu of gifts to us, please consider a donation to Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa.
